About the Role
As an estimator, your main responsibility will be to provide timely and accurate cost estimates for commercial architectural millwork projects. You will be expected to maintain open and frequent communication with project managers and executives, and utilize project drawings, specifications, and job-specific requirements to develop comprehensive and precise estimates of project costs. Your attention to detail and ability to deliver accurate estimates will be critical to the success of our organization.
Requirements
To be considered for the role of estimator, the following qualifications are required:
A Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related field, or a combination of relevant industry experience and education.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in millwork, carpentry, drywall, or a similar industry.
Exceptional knowledge and expertise within the millwork industry, both in the shop and field.
The ability to read and interpret blueprints, interior design, and architectural drawings.
A demonstrated ability to work independently, as well as part of a team.
The ability to work effectively under time pressure and prioritize tasks accordingly.
Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
Experience with BlueBeam is a plus.
